Pengaruh Zat Pengatur Tumbuh dan Jenis Media Hidroponik Substrat terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Stroberi di Dataran Medium

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh zat pengatur tumbuh dan jenis media hidroponik substrat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil stroberi di dataran medium. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Gandatapa Kecamatan Sumbang Banyumas yang memiliki ketinggian 450 mdpl (dataran medium) pada bulan Mei-Desember 2020. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT), yang terdiri atas 4 taraf, yaitu:  0 ppm, auksin 100 ppm, sitokinin 100 ppm, dan giberelin 100 ppm. Faktor kedua adalah media tanam hidroponik substrat, terdiri atas: cocopeat 100 %, arang sekam 100 %, cocopeat 50 % + arang sekam 50 %. Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang tiga kali sehingga didapatkan 36 unit percobaan.  Setiap plot berisi 3 tanaman sehingga ada 108 tanaman yang diamati. Perlakuan ZPT dilakukan dengan menyemprotkan  500 ml larutan sebanyak 1x ke seluruh bagian tanaman (sesuai perlakuan) pada pagi hari. Parameter yang diamati antara lain tinggi tanaman (cm) dan jumlah sulur (cabang) setiap dua minggu, kandungan klorofil (klorofil/mm2), jumlah anakan (tanaman), jumlah buah/tanaman (buah), serta berat buah/tanaman (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa zat pengatur tumbuh berpengaruh nyata pada variabel pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah sulur, jumlah anakan serta kandungan klorofil. Sementara jenis media hidroponik substrat berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah sulur, dan jumlah anakan, serta tidak ada pengaruh yang nyata pada variabel hasil. Disimpulkan Sitokinin meningkatkan pertumbuhan stroberi di dataran medium dan 100 % cocopeat adalah jenis media hidroponik substrat yang disarankan untuk budidaya stroberi di dataran medium.
